Product Composition

This combination of Vitamin B and Vitamin D essential for health and growth especially for women in pregnancy and lactating period. Pregnancy is associated with physiologic changes that result in increased plasma volume and red blood cells and decreased concentrations of circulating nutrient-binding proteins and micronutrients and the combination tries to cope up with the situation. It is important to take vitamin supplements when you are pregnant. This is because all the nutrients required by your body and the growing baby may not be met from your diet alone. L-Methylfolate (LMF) is primary active form of folic acid and with high bioavailability. Pyridoxal Phosphate is the active form of vitamin B6 is converted to pyridoxal-5-phosphate (coenzyme) in the body and is involved in various biological functions such as RBC production, making the hormone serotonin, processing carbohydrates for energy; keeping the nervous system working smoothly, and supporting hundreds of other jobs.

Uses:

⇒ Maintains proper levels of calcium and phosphorus
⇒ Beneficial for a typical depression
⇒ For the reduction of early preterm and very-low birth weight
⇒ Prophylaxis of hyperhomocysteinemia
⇒ Helps support fetal heart, brain and eye development
⇒ Creates healthy blood cells
⇒ Reduces oxidative stress & promotes nerve health

About Composition:

Calcium Aspartate is a calcium salt of the amino acid, aspartic acid, that has a neutral reaction in the body. Aspartatic acid is considered a non-essential amino acid, meaning that, under normal physiological conditions, sufficient amounts of the amino acid are synthesized in the body to meet the body's requirements. L-aspartate is formed by the transamination of the Krebs cycle intermediate oxaloacetate. The amino acid serves as a precursor for synthesis of proteins, oligopeptides, purines, pyrimidines, nucleic acids and L-arginine. L-aspartate is a glycogenic amino acid, and it can also promote energy production via its metabolism in the Krebs cycle. These latter activities were the rationale for the claim that supplemental aspartate has an anti-fatigue effect on skeletal muscle, a claim that was never confirmed. There are also claims that L-aspartate has ergogenic effects, that it enhances performance in both prolonged exercise and short intensive exercise. It is hypothesized that L-aspartate, especially the potassium magnesium aspartate salt, spares stores of muscle glycogen and/or promotes a faster rate of glycogen resynthesis during exercise. It has also been hypothesized that L-aspartate can enhance short intensive exercise by serving as a substrate for energy production in the Krebs cycle and for stimulating the purine nucleotide cycle.

Magnesium: Magnesium plays an important role in relaying signals between your brain and body. Magnesium is required for more than 300 biochemical reactions occurring in the body. It regulates normal nerve and muscle function, supports a healthy immune system, keeps the heartbeat steady, and helps bones remain strong. It also helps adjust blood glucose levels. It is also involved energy production and protein synthesis.

Zinc: It help is synthesis of more than 70 different enzymes. Zinc containing enzymes regulates metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. Zinc fastens wound healing; maintain normal growth rates, balance skin hydration and the senses of taste and smell. It assists normal growth and tissue repair. It boosts cell mediated immunity. It is poorly absorbed when given orally. Zinc is well distributed in tissues lik skeletal muscle, skin, bone, pancreas, kidney, liver, retina, prostate, RBC, and WBC. Zinc is mainly excreted through intestine and only 2% loss in the urine.

Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate is the active form of vitamin B6 is converted to pyridoxal-5-phosphate (coenzyme) in the body. Pyridoxine has been used to treats peripheral neuropathy caused by certain drugs such as isoniazid. It has also been used to treat certain genetic disorders such as xanthurenic aciduria, hyperoxaluria. It is one of the major vitamin required by red blood cells. It is majorly involved in RBC production, making the hormone serotonin, processing carbohydrates for energy and keeps the neurons healthy. L-Methylfolate (LMF) is primary active form of folic acid and with high bioavailability. It is a type of B vitamin helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer. Folic acid is sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat pernicious, aplastic, or normocytic anaemia.

Methylcobalamin:
⇒ Helps keep the nervous system and red blood cells healthy
⇒ Required for the formation of red blood cells and DNA
⇒ Important for protein metabolism

Vitamin K activates proteins that play a role in blood clotting, calcium metabolism and heart health. It promotes the calcification of bones and prevents the calcification of blood vessels and kidneys. Vitamin K plays an essential role in blood clotting.

Calcitriol: Calcitriol is an active metabolite of vitamin D. Calcitriol plays an essential role in regulating plasma calcium in concert with parathyroid hormone (PTH) by increasing absorption of dietary calcium through and phosphate from the gastrointestinal tract, preventing renal tubular secretion of calcium in the kidneys, and stimulating the release of calcium stores from the skeletal system. In addition to promoting fatty acid synthesis and inhibiting lipolysis, calcitriol has been demonstrated to increase energy efficiency by suppressing UCP2 expression, which is modulated by signaling pathways of classical nuclear receptors, where calcitriol acts as a natural ligand. When given orally or intravenously, calcitriol is mainly used as a medication in the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism and resultant metabolic bone disease, hypocalcemia in patients undergoing chronic renal dialysis, and osteoporosis.
